Hello dear friends of our town and our newspaper!
Another eventful week has flown by, and it’s time once again for your weekly Cats Hollow news.
MANOIR MUSA Art Gallery now open!
After weeks of preparation, the doors of the gallery are finally open to visitors. Our curator, Dveliande of Cats Hollow, has written a few words to welcome and joins us this week as our guest author.
Welcome to Manoir Musa Art Gallery

Manoir Musa — Where creativity finds its home, backed by Cats Hollow.
Strawberry Festival comes to a close this Sunday
How quickly time has passed! It feels like only yesterday that Sir Hamish, our beloved jam maker, welcomed everyone to the festival on 10th June, and now it is already drawing to a close.
This year’s Strawberry Festival will officially end on Sunday, 9th August, making room for whatever wonderful idea comes next. As always, there are already countless possibilities dancing around in my head, and I honestly can’t wait to see what this little corner of Cats Hollow becomes.
If you would still like to take home a few strawberry-themed souvenirs or enjoy one last ride on the Strawberry Scooter, the carousel, or the Ferris wheel, you still have until Sunday evening. And before you leave, don’t forget to visit Lady Whiskerblow for your daily piece of wisdom.

Renovations at the new Town Hall continue
I always find myself smiling whenever I step into our new Town Hall. The entrance hall has become bright and welcoming, complete with our latest property listings, a comfortable waiting area, and a reception desk that is occasionally even staffed.
The first floor now houses the Mayor’s Office and our meeting room, which even includes a small tea kitchen. On the top floor you’ll find the Town Archive, where we are gradually collecting photographs and every edition of the Cats Hollow Gazette. There’s also a cosy reading corner for anyone who enjoys browsing through our growing history.
The highlight, however, will undoubtedly be the Registry Office and Ceremony Room. I must admit I’ve been completely wrapped up in my little wedding project lately and have poured an enormous amount of love into every detail. Sometimes it’s almost a shame that I’m already married—I would happily do it all over again there.
Once everything is finished, we’ll feature a before-and-after gallery in one of our upcoming editions. The transformation really is quite remarkable.

Rental of the Week
This week we’d like to introduce one of our family townhouses. Spread across three floors, it offers plenty of room to create a home of your own. Located right in the heart of the Cats Hollow Community neighbourhood, everything is only a short stroll away. Nearby you’ll find the Family Restaurant, a cosy café, the Community Meeting Place and the Bike Shop. Just a little further along are the grocery store, several additional cafés, the hospital and multiple playgrounds.
The townhouse rents for L$300 per week and is available either fully furnished or unfurnished. If you choose to furnish it yourself, the available prim allowance is negotiable. Each home includes a spacious daylight basement, a ground floor, and an upper floor with two bedrooms and a bathroom. Several of these townhouses are currently available, so feel free to explore the neighbourhood and find the one that feels most like home.

Society Notes
One of our newest residents, Mr Arthur Murphy, has officially taken over the old petrol station in Cats Hollow Heights. Alongside the usual fuel services, he’ll also be offering vehicle repairs and maintenance. On the photo: Mr. Murphy and Mr. Dunphy, our Real Estate Manager after giving the key to Mr. Murphy.
This perfectly reflects one of the advantages of living in Cats Hollow. Whether you decide to take over one of our existing roleplay businesses or start a completely new venture of your own, the town is here to support you. From time to time, small shops become available, and one of them can be yours free of charge simply because you’re a resident of Cats Hollow. Situated directly on Route 8, these shops offer a wonderful opportunity to begin building your own business. They may be modest to start with, but every great business has to begin somewhere.
Take a page from Mr Murphy’s book and give it a try!

Inside Cats Hollow
Just a short walk from this week’s featured rental you’ll find today’s insider recommendation. The Milk Salon is a charming little café, perfectly placed on the walk home from the playground to Cats Hollow Community.
Children can enjoy an ice cream while adults grab a coffee to go. If work calls, the café also offers laptop-friendly workspaces for a relaxed business lunch. Or perhaps you’d simply like to unwind. Curl up with a good book in the reading corner, and if you’re lucky, someone may quietly be playing the piano in the background.

Duck Caught Red-Handed… Again
Residents of Cats Hollow awoke to an unusual sight Tuesday morning after a trail of breadcrumbs led officers from the Mercantile all the way to the Cats Hollow Height Swimming Pond. (Example Photo)
The prime suspect, a rather confident mallard, was spotted waddling away with an entire baguette nearly twice his own size. Witnesses report the duck refused to surrender the evidence and instead attempted a dramatic escape into the water. The baguette has since been recovered, although several bite marks suggest it was already beyond saving.
Police remind residents that feeding the ducks is perfectly acceptable. Teaching them burglary is not.
The Weekly Meow
This week’s thought comes from Lottie Fluffington-Murphy:
“Every town has its streets. The special ones also have stories waiting around every corner.”
And with that, thank you for reading.
Wishing you all a wonderful week, and as always, thank you for being part of Cats Hollow.
