Our baby is due in a few months and so we decided to take advantage of one of the last opportunities to spend some quality time together. We love to discover beautiful places in Second Life from time to time and yesterday it happened again. My husband invited me on a short trip to a sim called Calas Galadhon. Somehow I managed to find something to wear that would fit my baby bump and after a bit of time to change we were ready to go.
In the Second Life recommendations it says the following about this beautiful place: „The Garden Terrace is a live music venue in Calas Galadhon, nestled in a lush, romantic garden. Some of the best live musicians in Second Life perform here. Visit this beautiful garden to dance, socialise with your loved ones or meditate. To put it bluntly: this description covers perhaps 20 per cent of what you can really expect there. I don’t think I’ve ever visited such a beautiful place in SL, there’s so much to try out and it’s impossible to do it all in one visit. We first walked around a bit and looked around until we came to a cosy spot where we could sit down for a little dinner and we also danced there. Watch the reel here!
Afterwards, we explored the Sim further and decided to take a hot air balloon flight. We could also have done a boat tour or several, but we’ll save that for our next visit. From above, we got an idea of how huge this area is and how much you can see and do there.
Finally, we landed on a quiet little beach and decided to put on our swimsuits and jump into the water for a dip.
And yes, the whole trip was romantic from start to finish and if you want to go on a nice trip with your favourite person with a few surprises, you’ve come to the right place. Even if you go there alone to take some nice photos, for example, you are guaranteed to find beautiful spots that are worth capturing.
