What a week! Time seems to be flying by at the moment, and I can barely keep up. I’m always relieved when I remember to stop and take a few photos before another day disappears. I’ve continued building in Cats Hollow, but I’ll save all the news and pictures for this Wednesday’s Weekly Meow.
Our family has still had plenty of adventures this week, though, and I hope you enjoy the photos and the little stories that go with them.
Everything began with a day out for just the two of us at Pususaari, a place filled with breathtaking scenery, beautiful photography spots and countless little corners waiting to be explored. One visit is nowhere near enough, and we’re absolutely certain we’ll be returning.

Henry has now been with us for three weeks, and I have to admit it wasn’t easy leaving him with Lottie, his nanny, even for a little while. We weren’t gone for long, but it was such a lovely feeling to wrap him in our arms again the moment we came home.
Our days are filled with work, responsibilities and an endless list of things that need organising, so we treasure our evenings together even more. Sometimes it’s enough just to curl up on the sofa, chat for a while or simply enjoy a quiet cuddle once all the children are finally asleep—which, admittedly, doesn’t always happen at the same time, though we’re working on that. Thankfully, we all sleep in the same room, so at least nobody has far to go during the night.
My latest blog post for Lilleth took me back to New England on Thursday, a place that will always hold a special place in my heart because we lived there for a while three years ago. That region captures the feeling of the coast so perfectly that it instantly makes you want to go sailing.
On Saturday I still had plenty to finish in Cats Hollow Heights, adding little details, building and making adjustments, so I simply took the children with me. All of them. Having the Family Barn just around the corner is such a blessing for families. We enjoyed a picnic together, while Villie seemed just a little intimidated by Mr Tuxedocat. Then again, her slice of cheesecake did look irresistibly delicious. Liv played for a little while, but she wasn’t feeling quite herself that day, so she and Henry decided to have a nap together in the shade until Daddy arrived to take over, giving me the chance to continue building. Later, Auntie Sayo and Lottie joined us, and together we enthusiastically admired Villie’s impressive balancing acts and daring jumps on the balance beam.

Lottie then came home with us because we were planning to visit Angel Of Pain’s garden party, and she kindly looked after the children that evening.
It felt rather unusual—we realised it had been quite a long time since we’d gone out together. I also found myself checking my phone far more often than I’d care to admit, worried that something might happen with the children. Still, we trust Lottie completely, and the party turned out to be a lovely evening. We rarely visit German clubs, so it was actually rather nice being able to understand everything that was written without mentally translating every conversation. A quick phone call home revealed only that Lottie had raided our fridge because all the children had completely exhausted themselves and had fallen asleep almost immediately after their bedtime story.
That apparently made us a little more adventurous. Or rather, my husband surprised me with dinner at the Vitalis Restaurant on Omerta Island. After our meal, while we were dancing, he quietly revealed that he had booked a suite for the night and that nobody would be expecting us home until Sunday. It was wonderful to be back. Empire Omerta has become our favourite place whenever we want to spend uninterrupted time together. Every suite is beautifully designed with incredible attention to detail, offering complete privacy, and somehow we always manage to leave everyday life behind the moment we arrive.
Well… apart from what felt like twenty phone calls and WhatsApp messages to Lottie just to make absolutely certain everything was fine. By the final call she’d already gone to bed and informed us—rather dryly—that she was switching her phone off now and that we’d certainly be the first to know if anything happened to the children. Fair enough.
So we spent a wonderfully luxurious and cosy night in the Presidential Suite and, as always, enjoyed breakfast in bed the following morning. Afterwards we did a little online shopping and spent some time relaxing on Omerta Beach. Landmark: https://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Omerta/151/102/24
The perfect ending to this wonderful weekend was attending the church service on Omerta Island. I always love going there because the atmosphere is unlike anywhere else. It’s peaceful, grounding and somehow leaves you feeling as though you’ve been gently reset for the week ahead.
Have a wonderful new week, and we’ll see you again next Sunday.
