Christmas: A time for gratitude and love

For many of us, Christmas is a time to pause and look back on the year. It is the time when we reflect on what really matters: Love, family, friendship and the little moments of happiness that make our lives so precious. This year, I feel a deep sense of gratitude that I would like to share with you.

First and foremost, I would like to thank my husband Mikel. He is not only my partner, but also my best friend and the person who inspires me every day. His patience, his love and his unwavering belief in us make me incredibly happy. We go through all of life’s ups and downs together and I want nothing more than for it to stay that way.

My family and friends (old and new) have also played a special role again this year. You are my support, my source of strength and my home. The moments we spend together, whether big or small, are irreplaceable. Especially at Christmas, I realise how lucky I am to have such wonderful people by my side. You are all a priceless treasure in my life.

This year is particularly meaningful for me because our little miracle, our Liv Marie, has become part of our lives. There are no words to describe the feeling that fills me when I look at this little being. It is the purest form of love and has expanded my heart in ways I never thought possible. All I want is for our baby to grow up in a world full of love, security and joy.

I am also absolutely grateful that I had the opportunity to rebuild Cats Hollow and create a home for our family and friends. I would never have guessed how much happiness and security this virtual home gives me.

Christmas also reminds me how important hope is. Hope that all these connections that mean so much to us will remain. That we will continue to laugh, cry and support each other in the future. The world may be constantly changing, but the love and gratitude we feel for each other are the constants that give us stability.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas. Celebrate the people you love and enjoy the moments together. And perhaps take a moment to reflect on what you are thankful for this year. Let’s make the world a little brighter – through love, through gratitude and through the hope that all the beautiful things in our lives will remain.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas in my heart
