Annie stood in front of the mirror, gently cradling her growing belly. At six months pregnant, she felt more radiant than ever. Her husband, Mike, always said she glowed, and tonight was no exception. They had planned a special date night to celebrate their journey into parenthood, and she couldn’t wait.
„How do I look?“ Annie called out to her husband, who was in the other room, wrestling with his boots.
Mike appeared in the doorway, his eyes lighting up as he saw her. „You look absolutely stunning,“ he said, crossing the room to kiss her gently on the forehead. „Ready for our date night?“
She nodded, excitement bubbling inside her. They had decided to take funny pregnancy pictures, a whimsical idea that had struck them while looking through old photo albums. They wanted to capture these precious moments in a way that reflected their playful spirits.
They drove to a photo studio and chose suitable backdrops. They quickly found what they were looking for and had a lot of fun staging Annie’s baby bump.
They really tried to stay serious and take nice photos, but of course it got out of hand again, as it usually does when they do something together. So the shoot ended with them making funny faces at the camera and laughing their heads off.
Exhausted from laughing, they went for a bite to eat and short walk in the park. Mike pulled a small blanket out of his backpack and they relaxed on it.
As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the ending day, they sat down on the cozy blanket, looking through the pictures they had taken. Each one was a testament to their love and the joy they found in each other.
„This was perfect,“ Annie said, leaning her head on Mike´s shoulder.
„Absolutely,“ Mike agreed, wrapping his arm around her. „I can’t wait to show these to our little one someday.“
