Now there are only a few weeks until our little daughter will wonderfully join our family. We’ve already bought one or two things for her room, but a few days ago we went to the baby outfitter to pick out this and that, nice and useful ones.
It’s an exciting adventure, to select things for someone who isn’t even born yet. We can only hope that she likes what we lovingly choose for her. Every tiny outfit, every soft blanket and every adorable toy fills us with anticipation and joy as we imagine the moments we will share with our baby.
Of course, Mike had to expertly inspect the existing strollers and also had an important opinion on fashion issues. As we stood in front of a bed and discussed the color of the frame, we suddenly became very reverent. It’s always these moments that remind us that hopefully in 60 days we’ll be parents to a healthy daughter and how unreal it still feels that she’ll sleep in this bed (if we can still agree on the color… *lol *).
It’s a wonderful time for us as a couple too… full of love and hope, and we can’t wait to see how our baby used all the things we chose so carefully.
We are more than ready to shower our little one with all the love and care in the world!
