A sick day – the cozy way with 1 Hundred – Welcome to the LanikaVerse!

Annie was an active young woman who rarely sat still. But one morning she woke up and didn’t feel her usual self. Her head was pounding, her throat was scratchy and her whole body felt heavy.

‘I think I’d better stay in today,’ she muttered to herself. She put on her most comfortable clothes (Outfit „Sick Day“ by 1 HUNDRED) and snuggled into her bed with a hot cup of tea. Her cat Betty, who was normally always very independent, immediately jumped in and curled up next to her, purring. She always sensed exactly who needed her help, which earned her the nickname ‘Nurse Betty’.

Annie smiled and stroked Betty’s soft fur. ‘At least I have company,’ she thought. They spent the whole day in bed together while the rain pattered against the window panes outside.

She watched a few episodes of her favourite series, fell asleep every now and then, which was no drama because she knew the show inside out, and treated herself to some warm chicken soup.

Betty the cat never left her side and seemed to know that Annie needed her company. By the time night fell, Annie was feeling much better. The warmth and rest that Betty had given her did wonders.

The next morning she woke up refreshed and full of energy. The illness was gone and Annie felt like herself again. She gratefully took Betty in her arms and whispered: ‘Thank you, little nurse. You purred me back to health.’ Betty purred loudly and proudly, as if she understood exactly what Annie was saying. With a smile on her lips and newfound energy, Annie was ready to take on the day.
