Above a picturesque little town, high above the clouds, there was a hidden gem – a garden that seemed to come straight out of a fairytale book. Beautiful roses nestled against the warm wall and the seat of a swing swayed gently in the wind. Grass and flowers formed a colourful carpet under the azure sky, bathing the landscape in a multitude of colours. On this sunny afternoon, the garden was an oasis of calm. The air was filled with sweet fragrance and the only sound that broke the serene silence was the soft chirping of birds as they flew from tree to tree. The swing invited anyone seeking solace and peace. Nearby, a bright yellow Vespa rested in the shade of the trees. Its shiny chrome parts glistened in the sunlight and gave an idea of the adventures it had experienced with its owner.
But the true guardians of this paradise were the cats – sleek and elegant creatures that roamed among the flowers with a sense of regal grace. Some lazed in the sun, while others chased butterflies or played hide and seek in the tall grass.
The young woman who had come here on the Vespa was enjoying the swing, the peace and quiet and the presence of the cats very much.
In the meantime, a curious cream-coloured cat approached the Vespa and tried to jump onto the seat. The woman took the cat in her arms and stroked it, curiously eyed by another – red – cat that ran over the half-height sun-warmed wall.
And so, in this sun-drenched oasis of flowers, swings, Vespa and cats, time seemed to stand still – a fleeting moment of happiness caught in the golden light of a relaxed afternoon.
